This site was very straightforward and I feel it's the most simplistic and very interactive. I really loved the transition going from what he provides for work as well as how his products look like. The end being filled with personal information helps the user feel a sense of connection. I like the basic layout while also using the unique website features such as the still photo while being able to scroll to view the photo. The colors are pretty neutral and I started to realize it feels a little undone but shows that personality of the brand owner. I didn't like the atmosphere this website gives as I feel it doesn't resonate with me at all.
2) Naomi Umezu: https://www.behance.net/gallery/94853223/Portfolio-2020
This site was extremely visual and very eccentric with colors. In this site, you can definitely see her work and the style the brand owner likes to maintain. I like the way the photos and the images are laid out to go in order of what the objective of each project was intended to be used. The overall website felt more like a slide show of images rather than being super informative. The website also used a playful yet minimalistic format within the last part where you can start to see personal information. I really liked the way she brought her work out to life with minor collage layouts while also keeping it simple.
This website was very much immersive and creative with utilizing images as the background and having the information be a caption for the images. It feels that it would make the user take the time to view the entire images and information. The colors of the website are very much monotone and uses different shades of black to create a sense. This person also used their logo designs to both display their work and promote the business as well. This was a straightforward layout with lots of animation and lots of rectangular features. I like this website much more than the Gary Hefley as it was a little more lively and it stands out much more.
4) Hom Sweet Hom : https://www.homsweethom.com/work
I feel this is the most classic layout for many artists and I can understand why due to the fact it's very much organized and super simple to follow. It feels less cluttered than having to scroll down a huge page and I find it very soothing on the eyes. This artist's freelancing projects very much have a free feeling and playful as well as positive vibes towards it. I like the separate sections in which you can select what you want to read and what you're looking for. I feel this is the type of website I'd like to recreate for my own brand while adding a little twist.
5) Craig Black : https://craig.black/
I absolutely love the simplicity of this website and how professional it looks compared to all the prior websites. The tone of the first page is his artworks are seen with a sense of depth and the artist keeps that monotone feel which keeps his work to look nice and neat. I would say this website has no personality yet it feels very much that it does. There's lots of collage layouts within this website with some images being smaller while others seem to stand out more. I also like how the artist separated his artwork and his personal information and as you hover his artworks, you're able to get a new tab with the information and details of that certain piece.
