Pencil Logo Roughs - 9/15

 

REFLECTION : 

While designing my brand logo, I had a difficult time separating having a professional logo and having a logo that is personal to me. I found that finding things I find interesting was so much more of an influence for most of my pencil roughs. I feel I’m a balance between mature and being silly. I feel myself as a designer, it would be much more welcoming to make a design that will set me apart and also find a way to incorporate what I’m great at. I love making abstract and clever logos, symbols and ideas in which gives a second meaning and it forces people to view twice. I’m very much of a fan of funky yet clean looking logos and see how other people interpret the designer and logo differently. I definitely added my own twist for these logos such as the silly animal that would fit as my “B” and represent my last name in my brand. My last name is a huge part of me, it has a broken history of how it came to be about my family, and I’m currently the fourth to fifth generation to have the last name.
